Scaffold Renting vs. Buying

Generally, rental piers are valid for short-term works. These can take from a week to 10 days or four to six months, depending on the size of the project. Renovating buildings, doing extensive paint jobs, repairing ten-year-old cracks, replacing windows and exterior plumbing, needs scaffolding rentals.

One advantage of renting over buy is that you will need a place to store the dock if you buy it. With the rental, only shipping will be required. The costs required for storage areas may vary depending on the volume of the scaffold you purchase. This is an additional expense that will be added to your bill and is not really necessary for the duration of the job.

Renting scaffolding is generally cheaper. It provides extra money to invest in other areas of your project, such as sourcing higher quality raw materials for construction.

While the average price of 1000 m2 of scaffolding purchased is 350.000 TL-460.000 TL, the average price of the rental is 8.5 -12.5 TL per 1000/m2 for a billing period of at least 30 days.

While the prices of Mobile Scaffolding are between 20,000-30,000 for purchases, rental prices are between 1,500-2,500 TL.

For your short-term works, we recommend renting a scaffolding instead of purchasing a safe scaffolding.

Scaffolding Blog

Scaffolding performs several important functions during the construction process. It provides a temporary working platform to enable work to be performed at a height. It is also used to protect persons working at a height from falling and to protect persons working below from the dangers of falling objects. Falling from a height is one of the most common causes of accidental death and serious injury in the construction industry. Scaffolding that is adequately erected and maintained can prevent many such accidents.
